Talk to someone
Ideally, contact one of our churches and ask to speak to a priest or deacon - it would be great to chat in person, but it could be by phone, videocall or even email, whatever you and they are most comfortable with.
Or you could speak to someone you know who is a Catholic and find out why their faith is important to them.
The important thing is to talk - it really helps you to clarify your own thoughts as well as leading to some possible ways forward for you.
Come to church
Why not just come along to one of our services and get a feel of what we are like and what goes on? You don't need to let anyone know you are coming.
Although we all share the same faith, our church communities are different and you will experience different styles of worship depending on which church you go to.
You could even start by viewing one of our online services.
Discover Online
There are some great resources about Christianity and Catholicism online - but also some that are misleading and unhelpful, so you do need to be careful...

Try Alpha
Alpha is a great way to meet new people and explore the Christian faith together. It's for anyone who is curious. No judgement, no pressure.
St Joseph's, Christchurch, will be running Alpha in Autumn 2026 on Tuesday evenings - some in person and some online. And it's free.
